Greyscale Study #1 -Raymond Reddington- ( James Spader)

I am returning to the basics and starting to study painting on photoshop using a photo reference.
Mistakes ; I started without studying the face height map and without measurement. I found many faces but not the shapes that I wanted to reach. I like the photo lighting and the mood makes me remember Mafia the game. Hollywood police genre used in the 30's cinematography direct spot light with darkened shadows. This one is modern with soft lights. (Raymond Reddington from black list serial)
